This extra defrost cycle is an integral, ingenious and useful part of the cooler.Inspect the Styrofoam insulation: you are not supposed to turn a blind eye toward the most important thing, the Styrofoam insulation that keeps the outer temperature to disrupt the inner temperature. This is the thin layer that protects food and keeps it healthy and safe.
