Do You REALLY Want an Internet Business?

Vital to your success is a website. Now we all know we can get a professional to help you with this and it will cost you money. Depending on what you want on your website will determine how much. But be warned, this can run into the thousands. As I didn't have hundreds to spend, let alone thousands, I decided I would try to understand the basics myself first. Surely, it can't be that difficult can it?Weeks later I frustratingly discovered that trying to find a really simple beginner's guide to creating a website was like trying to squeeze wine from a rock. I was amazed. It did not seem that such a product existed. There were a huge number of 'beginners' guides out there, but even these became too complicated too quickly.Before I knew it I was reading about html coding, DNS server settings, FTP programs. Uh?! What is all this? This was a complete foreign language to me. It looked like a written conversation between a Klingon and a Romulan with Captain Kirk interrupting every few minutes. No. What was needed was a real beginner's guide.But first. Did you know that the majority of people setting up a web based business do not make any money. Why is this? Fantastic incomes on the web CAN be made. But, and it is a big but, just like any off line business you have to be prepared to put in the hard work. "Eh?" I hear you say, "Hard work? I keep getting told it only takes two minutes a day?"Sorry to tell you but, simply put, you will NOT make $5,000 a month by clicking your mouse a few times, never mind about the two minutes a day and the three second walk from your kitchen to your office with a cup of coffee in your hand. That is, of course, if you are at home and not on your yacht in the Bahamas. Yeah, I know. I got one this morning too.However I am very happy to inform you that you could make $5,000 a month by clicking your mouse a few times. But only if you spend some time setting up your business correctly. "Ah," I hear you say, "there is a way then?" Yes there is.Now check this out. Most people don't bother with the 'setting up the business correctly' bit. Why is this? The reason is that we become dazzled by other people's incomes. We see these fantastic headlines of superstar wealth, and want a piece of the action. We sign up for information we think we need. We buy a product or two (or three or four even) with money we haven't got. And then, slowly but surely, we become dazzled by the next offer of instant wealth.We get caught up in information overload. Suddenly we are receiving shed loads of emails each day, all from different people from around the world each one offering similar sounding products, all too good to be true, that we must buy now. Especially before midnight tonight when the price goes up from $37.00 to its original price of $9,997.00 plus tax.What are you going to do now then? What are you going to do with so much information? Where do you go next? You know what happens when you find yourself in this situation? Your original and sweetly desperate enthusiasm disappears and is replaced to your very core with total and utter frustration. I am talking about the head banging, nail biting, staring at the PC screen all goggle-eyed in stupor kind of frustration. I am talking about the screaming and the swearing and the 'why should I bother with this?' frustration.You daren't even open your mailbox. All those scary people telling you that they are now earning $10,000.00 a month on line with blah, blah, blah. For three straight weeks you seriously consider a life without a PC forever. Oh, the joy!Does all this sound familiar to you? ( Starting an Internet Business is a slow process. Not everyone can make money on line. There is so much to think about as you well know from the frustration. So where do we start?You need to adopt the correct attitude. The determined attitude to succeed and learn the skills needed to make this thing, whatever it is, work.
