However, if you have some basic building skills, you can build an entire system with as little as $500 by using DIY kits.If that is still expensive you can save even more by building your panels from scratch. The materials used are common and most of them can be found at your local hardware store. If you cannot find the very important photovoltaic cells in your hardware store you should try buying them online. This way you may even save a lot of money. |
