So you recently decided to start a business. Your excitement is raging throughout and you can hardly wait to start putting all the pieces together. "What are the first steps?" you ask yourself. Location, location, location is what pops into your head. It's all about the location these days.So what makes the perfect location for a business space? Well, that question really is subjective but I can give you my opinion on what constitutes as the ideal place to "set up shop" and we will see if you agree. Let's take a look at three different factors which I think play a huge role. ConvenienceAsk yourself this, do you really want to spend an hour in your car everyday just driving to and from work? Maybe you like driving because it allows you to get your road rage out while listening to your favorite radio station. Me, no thank you, I prefer to ride my bike to work. I save money on gas, its good exercise, and being outdoors is meditation time for me. I wouldn't be able to do that if I lived any further away from my work. So for me, convenience is a huge factor. Foot TrafficDepending on what kind of business you are starting, foot traffic may be a factor for you, and a huge one for that matter. You don't want to set up your high end boutique in a section of the city where your "target market" isn't perusing around. This one will require some thought and research but will pay off for you if you plop down in just the right spot. For example, depending on what kind of store it is, consider: a mall or shopping center, a historic district with quaint little shops, or even the urban area with artsy venues. All of these are unique in their own way and attract all sorts of different people. SizeSorry, but size does count in this instance. If you're in retail, it's important to have an area which will showcase your product to the best ability. You don't want things crammed in so tight that people can't view them properly. If you're not in retail, you still need to create an area that you and your clients will feel comfortable coming into. Conducting business out of a cardboard box probably isn't the most appropriate place size wise, unless you are in the lemonade business of course! If you are looking for "http://www.abbyexecutivesuitestucson.com"office space in Tucson for example, the size will be very different to that of an office space in Podunk, Iowa. These are just a few of the many factors that play a role when discovering the best place to "set up shop." Now all you have to do is go out and find that special place; hurry, it's waiting for you!
