| You may have heard of the phrase that you need to strike while the iron is hot. However, this is not entirely true if you really want to be successful. What successful really does is that they don't wait to strike when the iron is hot but they make the iron hot by striking it.This is the difference between people who are successful and people who are hoping or wishing for good things to come their way. Successful people don't wait for the opportunity for success to come but they find the opportunity that will lead to their success.If you want to be successful, then you shouldn't bypass good opportunities. You need to keep in mind that whenever you think about the things you want, you have to ask yourself if what side of the fence you are currently in at the moment. You have to ask yourself whether you are learning, challenging, or developing yourself, or you are just sitting back thinking about not living the life that you want and not doing anything much about it.If you are just sitting down thinking about your life hoping that a good opportunity will come your way, then what you are really doing for your success is nothing at all. Although this may work for some people, you need to remember that most successful people work hard for the opportunity to come their way. And, they grab it the instant it shows up.You need to remember that if you wait for things to be perfect, you will only pass up a lot of chances, opportunities, and experiences that may never come your way again. If you really want to be successful, you have to remember that you should never let opportunities pass you by.Success doesn't mean perfection. In fact, you need to go through mud in order for you to get to success. Keep in mind that sloppy success is really better than perfect mediocrity. Don't waste your time waiting for the perfect moment in order for you to become successful. However, what you need to do is find success the hard way. You have to find opportunity and you will need to do it in a messy way.Step outside your comfort zone and take the risk to find success. If you wait for it, then you will never know if it already passed you by. |
