There aren't many animation fundamentals that are much cooler than Time, we all love to play with Time in assorted ways in our live dimension and remapping Time in After Effects is a great, really simply way to produce dreamy, spacy, other worldly effects.Every novelist plays with our time perception - and every movie director has to control our time experience to reveal a lifetime in an hour or so. When your stage is the Internet, you have very little Time indeed, but just getting started with Time remapping is quite easy. Choose the time remapping fromlayer->Time->Enable time remapping and Walah !you're practically there. Set your first keyframe - and as you traverse the timeline, enter the diamond on the time remapping effect/setting ( not on the time line ) at intervals along the movie.Once you have completed, review your new timing, if you wish to readjust, simply scoot the keyframe diamonds in closer to much smaller times intervals or further to extend the time. In my case - I reduced a 5 minute sequence - to about 15 seconds and it really looks seamless - thanks to After Effects Time Remapping. Some natural settings recommend themselves to this kind of special effect. Share a full moon rising with your audience by compressing a few hours into a few seconds. Use this to show a bird take flight or maximize the few seconds you have in a 'Webcast' to give your sequence greater meaning. We see this often in moves as we swap from one scene of intent very quickly to the scene of action. After Effects provides a family of transitions in the presets library which help blend any series of movie or frames together providing a flow and their own contribution to your statement. Whether your transition explodes, dissolves, or exaggerates it's shape, the transition itself integrates with your theme. I chose the CC Page Turn effect which produces a nice segway into the next frame producing a very easy, smooth transition series of captivating effects and anticipation.MediaAdobe After Effects has become my application of choice and it seems to have endless possibilities. I use Premiere Pro for video, Flash for final Web compatible movie. I am on a constant learning curve and regularly update my media page.
Most of my client sites include some Flash, video, rich media promotion, "window dressing" with an emphasis on their product and services.

I have an eclectic collection, my infatuation with Tennessee nature and wildlife, animation, special effects, with a little music sprinkled on top. I have created promotional, media, and instructional videos for my clients.
