Back pain is always associated with spinal injury, shifted discs and big medical jargon that really at the end of the day means nothing. Most of the time it's simply due to something as simple as stiff hamstring, pelvis and back muscles and bad posture. No doctor needed here. Just a consistent stretching habit that increases your flexibility and in a very short amount of time you'll notice a difference. It remains a fact that chronic back pain might be a result of spinal injury, however it can be due to inflexible hamstring muscles which causes the pelvis to tilt backwards putting a lot of unnecessary tension on your lower back causing pain. By doing the following stretches each morning when getting out of bed, you will see an increase in flexibility in as little as a few weeks.- hamstring stretch: Keeping your back straight, reach down to touch your toes. When you feel a stretch, stop and hold it there for 20 seconds and relax. Repeat 5 times- Spinal rotation Twist slowly and controlled from side to side. Do this as often as possibleJust these two simple movements every day in the morning and night will increase your flexibility and will release tension on your back. Alternatively joining a stretching class like yoga is very effective and you'll be lead by a professional that can maximize your efforts. Keep in mind that in the beginning stretching might be somewhat uncomfortable but as the muscles lengthen it will become increasingly more enjoyable. For further information and articles on stretching, health and fitness and general topics in the fitness industry go to http://www.endurancefit.com
