You see them everywhere on TV, in magazines, in bookstores, articles, blogs and websites all talking about life/success coaching. But does it work? Can someone actually coach someone else to success? The answer is a resounding yes! Life coaching has proven itself as a highly effective way to help a person improve their life. Much like a baseball coach can help even a super star like Derek Jetter get over his batting slump a life coach can help you get over a slump in your career or relationship.Coaching is a proven process that quickly brings results, because both you and your coach are highly motivated and are working together on highly focused goals. You benefit by achieving goals faster, creating balance and enjoying the support of a non-judgmental mentor whose only goal is your success! The coaching relationship starts off with a "Discovery Period". During this discovery phase the life coach and the coachee will decide on areas to be work on and establish goals and action steps to achieve these goals. The life coach may also assign "homework" or coaching exercises to help the coachee "think outside the box" or to look at something from a different perspective. This coaching relationship can last several months or longer depending on the coachee's needs and goals. The key to creating success and happiness is inside you. The job of a life coach is to help you expand your horizons, harness your inner strengths and inspire you to live a life of fulfillment. Empowering you to make changes, try new paths and explore new ideas is a major part of the coaching relationship. Life coaching does work, but it takes a motivated coachee and the right coach. For more information about life coaching visit http://www.onelifecoach4u.comCoach Pete is a Life Success Coach and author of several ebooks including " The Bike of Life".
