Most of us are aware that our mind works on two different levels - the conscious and the subconscious. Our conscious mind controls our deliberate actions, it can reason, it can reach conclusions, and, in a normal situation, it will cause us to act on our conclusions. Our subconscious mind however, is below the level of our awareness. It controls our heartbeat, our blood circulation, digestion, elimination and breathing and works on our conscious actions through emotion. These all occur without our conscious control.Amazing as it is, our subconscious mind does not think on a rational, mature level, but, it can often found to be the cause of many of our conscious actions!Let me explain further. The subconscious cannot reason, it merely accepts, and because of this, problems can arise...For example, we may have had an emotional incident as a child, say, getting stuck momentarily in a cupboard. A few years later the actual incident has been long forgotten by the conscious mind but the fear of enclosed spaces may remain with us, embedded in the subconscious, unreachable to rational thought. There are many such experiences (traumatic or ordinary) that we have, that although consciously forgotten, still influence our daily, conscious actions. Our subconscious mind, lacking direction and logic, can handicap us through these major or minor fears. It can cause us to react to certain situations on an emotional basis, rather than a rational one. It may, in some instances, prove totally destructive to our ambitions and hopes, or, in extreme cases, even to our health.Sometimes we can overcome these problems on our own, but unless we actually have some sort of systematic method of dealing with them, our efforts and results tend to be pretty random. The need then, is for some kind of reliable method which enables us to bypass the conscious mind and deal directly with the subconscious. If we could manage that, we could then give the subconscious direction and cause it to focus on constructive, rather than destructive, use of our stored emotions.Well, of course, there is such a method. It is hypnosis. The subconscious is usually open to beneficial suggestions and hypnosis supplies the dependable and consistent vehicle for providing these. Using hypnosis to present suggestions directly to the subconscious, without the conscious mind interfering, we avoid doubts or misconceptions coming into play when we try and reason out a problem.Even when the underlying cause for a serious disorder is unknown, hidden behind a mental block, hypnosis can be used to break through the block, uncover the basic cause, and lead to a successful resolution of the problem. Please visit my site http://www.hypnozoom.com for further information
