Finding music to meditate to can sometimes seem a bit of a struggle. You've probably got a good idea in your head of exactly how you want the music to sound - most likely something quiet and calming rather than a heavy metal track. So how do you go about finding it?Your favorite search engine indexes words, not notes. So you're going by the author's description of the music rather than its sound. With the best will in the world, it's not necessarily easy to describe how music sounds. Music reviewers take years of training. Mere mortals like us sometimes struggle to describe music in words (after all, it's usually just easier to play it!)Once you've found your sites, using words to describe what you want to hear, it's then a matter of searching for samples so that you can double check. The last thing you want in the middle of a meditation is to discover that you've downloaded a prank track and the peaceful, tranquil sounds are suddenly overtaken by discord. Then it's a voyage of discovery as to which player works for the samples. And whether or not you've got that player installed on your computer. Music tracks might get played using the Windows player, Real player, Quick Time or some other software. So it can be pot luck as to whether you've got the correct player installed.
