Easy Instructions For Chakra Breathing Meditation

1. Stand with feet parallel to your hips. Let your body be loose and relaxed. Close your eyes and leave your mouth open.
2. Breathe deeply and rapidly while focusing on air going into your first chakra in the pelvic area. Focus as you inhale and exhale oxygen. Do not force the breathing, speed it up, or slow it down. Breathe at a natural speed and one that makes it comfortable for you to be aware of the feelings in each of your chakras.
3. Inhale and exhale oxygen into each of your seven chakras, one at a time. Inhale and exhale oxygen into each one 7 times. Continue breathing air in and out throughout the 7 chakras in your body.
4. As you continue to go up the chakras, your breathing pattern should become more rapid. You should be taking twice as many breaths in the 7th chakra as you did in your 1st chakra.
5. You may find it helpful to stretch, shake, or rotate your body, move your hands or arms in any way that feels comfortable, and any other part of your body that you choose. Do not move your feet though.
6. Focus your awareness on the sensations you feel in each of the chakras rather than on your breathing or body movements. A really great way to do this is by listening to binaural beats while you are meditating.
7. After you breathe air in and out of your seventh chakra 7 times, let your breath and awareness travel through each of the lower chakras (6th through 1st chakra). Slow down your breathing with each chakra that you pass. Let the energy flow down by itself from the seventh to all the lower chakras to include the whole spectrum of energy from top to bottom.
8. While you are doing this, you can breathe air in and out of each chakra as many times as is comfortable for you.
9. After you do this, stand silently for a few minutes before starting it again three times.
10. Once you complete your third sequence, sit down on the floor with your eyes closed and in silence until you are ready to complete this meditation exercise. Take this time to acknowledge anything that you may feel, don't push or judge thoughts that may come into your mind. Just acknowledge them and they'll move on.
