Dodge Ram 45RFE Transmissions
I am not to well sold on this transmission of dodges the 45rfe. This has left me broke down and stranded twice now. They are a very technical transmission to work on or to even have work done on them. They are overpriced for what can go wrong with them. I have found that the dealers can only charge what they seam as fair. When I researched the parts I needed to fix the problems that I was having I found them extremely cheaper than what the dealer could offer. I bought a new pump for this transmission as well....
