| Getting a higher education, like Doctor in Philosophy of certain field, is very costly. In the academe, the advancement of career is still based on educational qualification. So no matter how intelligent a woman is, while her male counterpart has a PhD, career advancement for her is dim. This woman if she’s a mother too might as well know about scholarship for the mother program.A working mother who intends to pursue higher education is mostly disappointed with the cost of education at stake. This might be fueled with the fact that she can’t be promoted just because of her lack of right education. Sometimes, when competition for promotion involves men and women, men get the job. While women on one hand, might be turned down for the lack of experience and educational background. It may sound so feministic, but this is true. The capacity to be patient might have doubled up already. Such financial support will benefit the mother much, because she’s now free from worrying about supporting her studies on her own. The scholarship for the mother program will become an important element in her career as a working mother. A degree in doctor of philosophy is a prestigious laurel to one’s cap. And through the said program, this is now within reach of any mothers. That dream of higher education without having to worry the cost of it is now a thing of the past. |
