I know of just the way you can resolve any, that’s right ANY, problem you are currently experiencing in your life. Yaaah right, you’re saying. As bold a statement as that may be, I have the solution, actually so do you. Now you may be asking, what is it? Is it a pill? How much will it cost? Does it work for everyone? How often do I have to use this thing? If I offend you with this next statement I’m sure you’ll get over it. The answer to all the “concerns” in your life is you. Yes - the way we SEE the problem IS the problem. As Albert Einstein postulated: “The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.”So, if we cannot change the perceived issues in our lives by blaming the circumstances, our upbringing or someone else for the problems, the only thing left is to change ourselves. How do we do this? We can make invaluable changes to our character and to our lives with what’s called the Inside-Out approach. This means to start with the self first. This technique can be likened to the principle of BE, DO, HAVE.If you want to have a happy marriage, be the kind of person who generates positive energy and sincerity, and do the things your loved one appreciates and desires. If you want to have lots of money in your life, be the person who is willing to pay the price of success, and do the things necessary to reach your goals. If you want to have more time freedom in your life, be a more efficient and organized person, and do the things that you typically enjoy in your spare time. It’s pertinent to understand that making and keeping promises to ourselves precedes making and keeping promises for others. It is futile to work from the outside in, trying to improve our relationships with others before improving ourselves. Inside out is a continuing process that takes work. Consistent and persistent practice is necessary to reshape and reform your reality but it’s worth it! It’s much easier to blame people, conditioning and circumstances for our stagnant situation. But we are response-able to control our lives by working on being, on what we are.Habits are seeded deep within us throughout every experience we had when we were growing up. Therefore, in order to alter these habits we need to think differently and change our paradigm to a deeper “inside-out” level. Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.
