I don't know about you, but I despise being sick. I feel that it affects everything in my life from my job, to my family, of course my health, and so on. While I am in the midst of feeling down and "not myself" from the sickness, usually someone will be there to brighten my day with a card, chicken soup, flowers, etc. What are some things that people have done for you to help get you get through those sick days? I'm going to mention a few things that have worked for me and hopefully it will spark an idea within you for the next time a friend is in need of some TLC.SoupThere is just something about soup that always manages to cheer me up when I am sick. I think it's the nice warm feeling that I get while eating it. Homemade soup is always the best but if you don't have the time, your friend will surely appreciate a good ole' can of soup from the market. Or, you could even get a bowl of soup from their favorite restaurant, which may be the across from their ="http://www.abbyexecutivesuitestucson.com">office space in Tucson. That would make it even more personal and special yet. ChocolateI know, I know, some of you are thinking, "you shouldn't eat chocolate when you're sick, that's not going to make you feel better." Well thanks for the concern, but I'm not talking about downing a whole king size Hershey bar. I'm talking about one or two little fancy pieces of chocolate. You could even attach a "Get Well Soon" note to it. Chances are, even if your friend is on the ="http://www.hcgvitality.com">HCG diet, they probably aren't too concerned about it while they are sick, so a chocolaty treat could be the perfect gesture.Flowers Okay, so this one may apply more to women, but then again, you could probably find some manly flowers out there to bring your male friend. Oh, I know, maybe a cactus. Now, I'm not suggesting cutting down the cactus that may have caught your eye while going into="http://www.glendaleflowers.net">Glendale Flowers. I believe that is against the law, so you may want to purchase one. As far as flowers go, you really can't go wrong. There are so many different types and colors. If you don't know what your friend's favorite flower is don't fret, just remember, it's the thought that counts. Even a simple flower out of your own garden will do the trick. These are just a few of the many things that you can do for a friend to help them, "Get Well". And you know what, I bet just them seeing you would even cheer them up. Time is everything, so when you drop by to see them, be sure to spend some quality time together, if they are feeling up to it that is. Chances are, if you take care of them while they are sick, they will be there to help you when you are.
