Life Outside of the Fishbowl Or the Box

'Normal' sanity has its "privileges", sure. Like being a "functioning adult on the day shift". But insanity as it is known, can be good or great, especially when productively thinking "outside of the box" or "fishbowl" of non-creative "normality".What I mean is, genuine happiness comes from being genuinely productive and free, sure. But, it also comes from being genuinely creative and really living on your own terms (as I do mine) at all levels of the psyche or consciousness. Indeed, "insanity" is just a reaction to bondage and genuine dishonesty. That's all "insanity" really is when it all comes down to it. A reaction to genuinely evil and negative oppression of any destructive sort. A positive reaction to this sort of thing would be like Mohandas K. "Mahatma" Gandhi who used "positive insanity" to beat the repression and oppression of his time, and I mentioned him because he is a famous case of what I am talking about. I won't go to an "on the other hand" about evil like most articles of this nature do, because in today's society on Earth it is all too obvious a problem. But, think about it though, indeed: Positive insanity or positive sanity is just a belief like negative insanity or negative sanity, the difference is that positivity gets praised rightfully most of the time like Gandhi, Jesus Christ, Aristotle or most of the moral philosophers, Masters, honest people and the like, negativity almost always and rightfully most of the time, gets condemned. What I mean by positivity is when a productive contribution is made to life and existence no matter how small or large. Small as in producing values cheerfully, doing good work and that kind of thing, large as in doing the genuinely right thing on a mass scale. Indeed, honest character is measured by productive contributions to life and existence no matter what. Dishonest character is not measured except in insanity and tragedy, which is the point of this article, for, ultimately real creativity is productive, sane and honest. From basic spiritual discipline to the Empire State Building and space flight and beyond to infinity positive and from infinity positive. Real creativity is productive, sane and honest. That is where it is at. Non-creativity is any sort of stealing or destructiveness. Genuine immortality comes through the integration and productive creative use of values not through any sort of destructiveness or fearfulness of action. So, that brings me to a point thought that leads to action is rational mysticism, because it is coming up with an idea, when it becomes an action it goes beyond rational mysticism into the realm of rational creation and production. So, as Earl Nightingale said on his program, "I have an idea, what is that?"; I have an answer, it is an idea until action fully backs it, and makes it a genuine condition. What are ideas? Rational mysticism until backed with action? Yes, indeed so. So, here I quote H.G. Wells, "nonsensically": "The man who raises a fist in violence has run out of ideas." I would like to say this in paraphrase answer, the man who raises a fist does not acknowledge creative or logically sane alternative ideas that will work better than that violence or that fist. Indeed, real creativity is referenced by it's valuable insight and benefit. This is the reality of the situation that I am talking about in this article in every genuine way. When I communicate with you about thinking outside the box and fishbowl of "normality", I mean outside the box and fishbowl of "normality" in every way. I mean putting in the honest effort to create the idea and then act on it honestly. That is all I mean. Without ideas, there would be no action and we would still be nothing, not even a spark. So, this article honors those who think outside the box and fishbowl and takes action on those thoughts in every genuinely productive way, and there will be genuine results and honest reality that is beneficial that follows those results. Benefit is the goal for self and all that is positive to the world, nothing else matters in any way.My name is Joshua Clayton, I am a freelance writer based in Inglewood, California. I also write under a few pen-names and aliases, but Joshua Clayton is my real name, and I write by that for the most part now. I am a philosophical writer and objective thinker and honest action taker. I also work at a senior center in Gardena, California as my day job, among other things, but primarily I am a writer. As a kid I did construction work with my Dad which taught me many things like plumbing, hard labor and electrical systems, and I took notes for my Dad's home poker games at my Uncle Johnnie Gilmore's house, so I have a lot of life experience, sure. But I went to Cal State Dominguez Hills College, UCLA, and El Camino Junior College and learned a lot, but never got around to getting a degree, just lots of money spent, good grades and some credits. So, here I am currently freelance writing and working at a senior center for a living. But enough details of my life, what I do is not what I am. So here is what I enjoy, I enjoy reading, listening to music (everything from Beetoven, Strauss and Bach to The Meters, ELO and The Band and Dylan/Garcia and The Grateful Dead also, when they were the Grateful Dead. Well, as you can tell by SOME of the music I listen to, I am a very eclectic person. I am also a deep science fiction fan and as said before, a lover of books. If I were to go into everything it would take thousands of words and I only have about three hundred words here, of which I have used 290 of already. Well, I end here. Thanks. Joshua Clayton.
