It's been my experience that when you have a problem, the best way to treat the problem is to learn the cause. If you have acne Rosacea then you might benefit by learning the cause and more about your condition. Acne no matter what type it is is an annoying problem that nobody wants. When the problem develops, everyone who has the condition wants to find relief and the way to get rid of the problem. Perhaps it may take longer than you expect to eliminate the problem, but there is hope. How to treat acne Rosacea -First, define the problem. Acne Rosacea is caused from infections and it is a disease. Usually the condition targets the central area of the face. Once the acne develops it causes redness around the nose and face, as well as the forehead. Dilating starts to affect the tiny blood vessels, which the condition starts to grow. It often appears in diminutive red rows and it is known as Telangiectasias. Sometimes the condition looks like pimples. It is important to see a dermatologist if you notice pimples because many people have mistaken Rosacea as acne. It is not acne; rather it is a more serious skin condition. The causes of Rosacea are not available at this time, since scientists are continuing to search for answers. Usually, middle aged men and women develop the condition, and mostly these people are from North Europe or Celtic areas and they have fair complexions usually. Alcohol when overused can cause Rosacea to develop. When the condition develops, it usually starts reddening around the nose and cheeks. When the condition starts to worsen the skin often seems frail and thin. Small blood vessels become apparent about the surface of the skin, which the nose area will thicken causing it to appear bulbous and red. In medical terms the bubbles and redness is known as Rhinophyma. Many alcoholics are commonly seen with this type of condition. On rare occasions Rosacea develops on the torso, arms, and the legs. The condition is often treated carefully. Doctors recommend that the patient avoids any spicy foods, coffee, alcohol, and caffeine. These foods and beverages will encourage the blood vessels to dilate. Many doctors prescribe antibodies to treat acne Rosacea. Because antibiotics have fewer side effects and have proven to cure the condition, most doctors will recommend a strong antibiotic. The antibiotics are often applied to the infected area as prescribed.
