A lot of people, if not almost all people, complain that they don't have time for their family, for expanding business, for taking care of their look, for future planning, for hobby, for learning new skills, and especially for daily exercise. There are many people feel frustrated because they can not have enough time to do activity that give them fulfillment because they are tighten up with handfuls of things to be done and those things are never finished.I am going to give you some outlines on how to manage your time. The knowledge here is from some exhaustive research of many experts in this field including many hours of studying of my own. Here are the steps of effectively managing your time:1. Set up the objectives of your life and how to use your time. Decide what you want and how you are going to approach and achieve it. The reason that most of the people say they don't have time because they have not decided on the necessity of having time for themselves. If you don't treat it as a must, you will not get it. Set your long term goals. What do you want in ten and fifteen years? Then see in order to achieve that what you need to do yearly. Break down your yearly goal into monthly targets.2. Once you have your monthly targets, you need to make your daily activity plan. Planning is very important for time management. People say failing to plan is planning to fail. The statement has never been less emphasized. A renowned business philosopher , Jim Rohn, says "Don't start your day unless you have it finished on paper". If you are more advance and want more accomplishment, you need to plan your week in advance. In case you want to go with the heavyweights who achieve what most people can not, you need to do it with your month and year. This one simple technique alone can save you hundreds or thousands of hours doing insignificance.3. At the evening of each day, you need to see what activities you need to do in the following day. List out all the activities. Then categorize the activities by priority. What is urgent and important to your goals? What is urgent and not so important? What is important but not so urgent? What is not urgent and not important at all? In order to classify the activity we need to know the reason why we do that activity. After that, we need to decide what to do, what to postpone, what to delegate and what to discard. Proper planning will save you a lot of time you need for your future growth.4. Whatever you do, do the best you can. This very right technique is hardly employed by the majority of people. We know that if we put our heart onto what we are doing, we will get good result from our action. We will not need to correct it or redo it afterward. That is an awful lot of time saving. Besides, when the result is good, you will feel more satisfied not only on the result of your action but also on yourself. Your self esteem will go up to the roof.5. Avoid interruption on the task you have on hand. Do not let anyone mess up with your plan. You may want to put a sign in front of your office that you need a concentration right now and need no disturbance. You can get the agreement with your family on what you are doing and that they will have time with you on the plan that you made. It will be challenging at first. But after we practice it enough, it will become fruitful and you will have it as one of your qualities.6. Evaluate yourself at the end of the day. What get measured, get done! This famous quote is always true. Measure your self against what is in your plan. See how good you do and how you can improve it. This is one last single step that you can't miss. If you omit doing evaluation, the chance that you stop your time management program is very high. Do not let that happens. Go back to your ultimate goals and see what is going to be like if you achieve them all. After evaluation, plan for a better day tomorrow.7. Visualize your success. Daily visualize that you can manage your time well and never be late for anything. Visualization will help you connect to your subconscious mind which will organize the environment to your favor. It will attract the good things to you according to the law of attractionTime management is one of the major issues in our societies. People need more time to do the things they want. Yet, people hardly know that with such simple techniques, they can have more time if they set themselves to a new standard. If they harness this principle and discipline themselves, they will be able to successfully manage their time.
