Additionally, the S2100-ES3 is equipped with the DeltaRemote™ which ensures fast and thrifty replication of large volumes of data by only transmitting new data. It is fitted with dual hardware accelerators which offload the compression of OST replication and DeltaRemote™ payloads, as well as their decompression. This ensures that at all times system resources are kept unencumbered, resulting in maintenance of the high performance ingest and data deduplication characteristic of the S2100-ES3.

As a licensed option, you can have encryption of data at rest with Sepaton’s in-built hardware accelerators, which offer high speed in-line AES 256 encryption, deduplication and decryption without effect on performance. Sepaton data encryption integrates with encryption key managers (EKM) compliant with acceptable OASIS Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP), thus enabling clients to take advantage of the interoperability between encryption and key management systems.
