If you are considering building a truck wash business then perhaps you need to focus on the building itself a little. Well a truck wash should be four bays on a busy freeway and 2-3 bays on a smaller highway. How Big Should you Build a Truck Wash Building? Well, each bay should have enough space between each truck being washed to park another truck between it. This way you can wash two trucks side by side simultaneously.
And if you are building a truck wash consider that you should build big for the future too. Having extra bays is smart for future expansion, if you never use them you can block it off for RV Storage, section it off for mini-storage or lease it out to a truck oil change company or truck detailer, welder or whatever. But later if you need it you are very happy it is there. Please consider this in 2006.
