The Samsung S8500 Wave is Elegance Personified

The Samsung S8500 Wave combines style with advanced levels of functionality all of which are contained within a casing which is 118 mm x 56 mm wide whilst being only 10 mm thick. The handset provides smart phone technology by virtue of its ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor and Bada operating system, both of which are tried and tested and offer excellent levels of reliability.

The phone comes with an impressively colourful 3.3 inch super AMOLED touch screen that displays 16 million colours within a 480 x 800 pixel screen size. The handset incorporates both accelerometer and proximity sensors to automate tasks such as image orientation and battery saving functionality. A scratch resistant surface is also provided to ensure longevity of the display screen. The unit provides effective navigation by virtue of the TouchWiz user interface, which within this handset is version 3.0. The alternative method of data entry, known as handwriting recognition is also provided as standard.

The handset offers both ring or vibration alert types, with the opportunity to utilise existing downloaded MP3 files as ringtones. Hands free communication is provided by the speakerphone which incorporates digital natural sound engine technology. Satellite navigation is provided by the GPS function which incorporates A-GPS support.
