This is because when you become too wealthy, there is nothing more in life to look forward to. Wealth creation is a rough process and it makes you many enemies and you lose many friends, even family members. This can lead to mental and psychological problems.
Change In Lifestyle
When you become wealthy, you have to change your lifestyle. This is because your life is always at risk, your interests change and you get new friends, etc. This is not always a good thing because it transforms you to another person - a person who is only popular to his/her new friends because of the money.
Being In Debt
Most wealthy people are actually in debt to banks and other institutions. There is also a greater risk to their money because most of it is usually in stock markets and other such places - not in bank accounts.

There is a difference between being wealthy and being rich - wealthy people are an asset to the whole community whereas rich people keep their riches to themselves.

There is a lot of respect and admiration that comes from being wealthy. Wealthy people also wield a lot of political power and they can use their wealth to make an impact in the society.
