Biltmore Who's Who Selects Geralda Duverny as this weeks Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.

Geralda Duverny, Family Nurse Practitioner and Nursing Instructor was inspired greatly by her mother and has always been keenly aware of the health care needs of people, and strongly felt that she could help by becoming a nurse.

It is Geralda Duverny's ongoing goal to impact peoples' lives positively on a daily basis; whether spiritually, physically or even financially. Her long term goal is to obtain her doctorate as a Nurse Practitioner and become the voice of children in distress, orphans, and hopefully work on health disparities. She would also love to work with people such as Florida Department of Health Secretary, Ana Viamonte who shares her belief as far as helping children receive the best health care available.

Geralda Duverny earned her Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University in 2008. She has been working as a Nurse since 1999 and began as instructor at Everest Institute in June of 2002.

Ms. Duverny is also an ordained minister at Pentecostal Church of Miami (Siloe) where she works under the leadership of her senior pastors and mentors, Revs. Wilner and Naomie Prudent. For the past three years, her ecclesiastical duties have included teaching a youth Sunday school class to teen girls, overseeing the couple's ministry, and financial officer for the youth council. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Haitian-American Nurse Association, and Golden Key International Honor Society. She tutors pro bono, a few children in her community as well.

As a guest at the university presidential inaugural conference of the 44th president of the United States Mr. Barack Obama, Geralda Duverny is excitedly making travel arrangements to attend that great event in January of 2009 in Washington D.C.

Biltmore Who's Who congratulates Ms. Duverny on all of her success and wishes her the best of luck in all of her future endeavors.
