If you are new to using grocery coupons, I'm about to tell you all you need to know to start saving up to 70% off your food bills every time you head to the grocery store. Using grocery coupons for beginners need not be a daunting task to reap big financial rewards.
Here are 6 strategies for savings that all beginning coupon shoppers should know:
1. Always use a high-face value coupon at double coupon stores, or on a triple coupon day at your local grocer.
2. Always combine coupons with store sales. Doing do will get you either free items or deeply discounted merchandise.
3. Use many "like" coupons to get free items when you can find them. If you need extra coupons get them for free online, use electronic grocery coupons or use a coupon clipping service for a nominal fee.
4. Throw out brand loyalty and buy whatever is the best deal that week. Learn to love the experience of trying new products.
5. Be willing to stock up when prices are low, and buy less when there are fewer deals around for savings. I regularly buy an extra box, can, jar or whatever when prices are low. In fact, you will greatly maximize savings if you are willing to buy a dozen of the same item when either free or deeply discounted.
6. Stay organized to maximize savings. Grocery coupons will not help you save if you are unable to find which coupons you need while shopping. Get yourself a good coupon file, binder or organizer to maximize your saving potential.
Saving money with grocery coupons for beginners is not difficult. You just need patience, practice and a little organization to save hundreds of dollars a month.

Don't Be Afraid to Put All Your Eggs in One Basket (Popularity: ): You've all heard the old saying "don't keep all your eggs in one basket"...I'm sure. I find it very tiring myself. Sometimes I wonder if people even really understand what they are saying. The "eggs in one basket" refers to losing everything you have all at one time. In the investment arena, it means "don't invest in one fund, stock, bond, etc." You want to know what's dumb about this ...
Your Pressing Financial Questions Answered (Popularity: ): It seems that every time you turn on the TV or the radio, or you read the newspaper, there's more bad news about the economy and the financial markets. So, as a subscriber to our e-zine, ...
Curb Spending To Find Cash - Manage Your Debt (Popularity: ): What's harder? Saving $25,000 for a down payment on a house, squirreling away extra $1500 for a new TV, or giving up rich, delicious chocolate for a month? Okay, I know that I'd pick the chocolate. When it comes to saving goals, though, in some ways it's harder to save for a $1500 purchase than it is for a house. Here's my reasoning. If you want to buy a house, ...
