Sally’s corner has become a popular organization raising funds to make the children section at Los Mangos Library. There is a special fundraising program scheduled for the 4th of April from 5:30 to 10:30 pm. Tickets cost $500 pesos, and the program includes live music and a silent auction. All this will be held at Villa Mandarinas donated by Gabriela Garcia, who is the chair of the event.

Canopy Tours de Los Veranos offered an exciting outdoor experience to the children of Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza (R.I.S.E). R.I.S.E is a non profit Mexican organization for homeless minors under the age of 14, who need shelter and a loving place to dwell in. The children loved the experience of swinging through the trees and were also supplied with lunch, a photo a video and tee shirts along with goodie bags.

On February 27th Artistas Del Bario art exhibition was held which carried on with cocktails. This exhibition displayed 24 pieces of art produced by four young, talented boys. The purpose of the exhibition was to create scholarship funds for the underprivileged children of R.I.S.E. These four boys donated 15% after the sale of their paintings. This exhibition went extremely well, as many people were excited to meet these four boys who decided to use their talent to help the needy children.
