The Information Security Engineering Certified Professional (ISECP) certification is a vendor-neutral certification exam developed by INFINIDOX that covers the foundations of information security. A vendor-neutral means it is not tied to one computer or network brand or platform.
The ISECP Certification Program is designed to objectively assess and measure professional knowledge. The ISECP exam is customized for network professionals and system administrators with at least 3 years security experience. To obtain the ISECP certification an individual must satisfy experience requirements, agree to adhere to a Professional Code of Ethics, and pass the ISECP Certification Examination.
ISECP examination is available in English only and is presented as a proctored, real time, closed book, computer based exam of 2 hours duration, with 80 multiple-choice questions, each with four choices. Candidates sitting the exam need a score of 70 in order to pass the exam, and that score is derived from a 0 to 100 scale. Exam results are displayed as soon as the candidate completes the exam.
While preparing for the ISECP exam the candidate get to know the best information security practices worldwide and possess a solid foundation of experience and education in information security. For the ISECP exam, candidates will not have to memorize items that are not helpful in their career, to learn things that they would never use in their life, or to learn security through INFINIDOX’s view. This is why an official guide for preparing the ISECP exam was not issued.
The purpose of the ISECP exam is to enable candidates have a general view on information security and not be trapped in understanding security from one point of view only.

OSI Overview (Popularity: ): When computers were first linked together into networks, moving information between the different types of computers was a very difficult task.
