#2, you've got to have an auto responder account. You absolutely have to have an auto responder account. You cannot try to mail your leads, your subscribers through your web host or through your email. It cannot be done. And, when you're first getting started and your focus or your vision isn't very big and you think, 'Well, you know, I'm only going to have ten or fifteen subscribers this month.'

You may think in your mind that you can do it, but you need to set things up today the way that they're going to be next month when they're making you money. And you absolutely have to have an auto responder service. I do not recommend buying any kind of an auto responder that you host on your own web site.

There's a number of reasons for that. It's becoming more and more difficult to get through the spam filters. If you get too many spam complaints with AOL or some of the other providers then they end up blacklisting your IP address. And then you've got to make phone calls or you know, you've got to come up with some ways to prove that you are actually CAN-SPAM compliant which is the law of the United States about sending people spam.

So what I recommend is getting an auto responder account. I use aweber. They've just been really, really convenient for me. I've got a total of, I think, 17,000 email addresses in that particular account and they handle everything for me. All the back end, and they keep me legal with CAN-SPAM, all that.
